Morgan Deters

Secretary-General

Morgan Deters has been involved in MUN since she was a freshman in high school in 2005. Since then, she has attended over 30 conferences as a delegate or staff member. She has served on Committee Staff seven times for NWMUN-Seattle and NWMUN-Portland and has served as Chief of Staff for NWMUN-Seattle twice. She is very excited to be returning as Secretary-General this year. Morgan graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2013 with a double major in International Affairs and Economics, having served 3 years as President of the Lewis & Clark Model UN Club. She now works for healthcare tech startup in Portland, Oregon.

Dominika Ziemczonek

Director-General

Dominika Ziemczonek has been involved with Model United Nations for 7 years. She is excited to serve as Director-General at NWMUN-Seattle after serving as committee staff at four previous NWMUN conferences in both Seattle and Portland. Dominika has also been involved with other conferences, including University of British Columbia Model United Nations, and National Model United Nations in New York. She holds a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

Thejasvi Ramu

Chief of Staff

Thejasvi Ramu joins the NWMUN-Seattle 2016 Executive Secretariat as Chief of Staff, in her fifth year with the conference. Thejasvi has participated in an array of conferences as a delegate and a staff member since 2009. Thejasvi graduated from the University of Victoria in 2015, where she double-majored in Anthropology and Political Science, and focused her studies in international relations and medical anthropology. Thejasvi currently works as a community relations coordinator for a start-up nonprofit called HeroWork.

Doug Siegel 

Assistant Secretary-General for Logistics 

Doug Siegel is excited to return to the Executive Secretariat of Northwest Model United Nations-Seattle 2016 as Assistant Secretary-General for Logistics. He previously served as ASG-L for NWMUN-Seattle 2015 and NWMUN-Portland 2016. Doug previously participated as a delegate for three NWMUN conferences before joining the staff. Doug graduated from the University of Washington with a major in Political Science. He currently works for Microsoft in Seattle, where he manages marketing events.

Stephen Rimbakusumo

Assistant Secretary-General for Conference Services

Stephen Rimbakusumo is excited to be joining the NWMUN Seattle 2016 Executive Secretariat as the Assistant Secretary-General for Conference Services. Stephen has either attended or staffed 12 MUN conferences since first getting involved in the Spring of 2014. Stephen has many interests, ranging from security issues such as cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism to the history and politics of former Soviet states. Stephen is graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in History, and is currently employed as a web developer. Outside of MUN and work, Stephen enjoys outdoor activities, the occasional computer game, and learning foreign languages.
